Your guided fishing charter will take place on Charlotte Harbor which offers over 219 miles of tidal coastline and is the destination for some of the worlds most sought after fishing. Redfish, snook, trout, tarpon, black drum, cobia and jack crevalle all call this natural estuary home. Mangrove lined shores, grass flats, pristine beaches, creeks and canals are all settings for some very exciting fishing!
Your fishing adventure will begin with us catching bait (if you would like to do that with us). Otherwise Captain George will catch bait before he picks you up. There is an abundance of bait fish in the harbor that has to be caught with a cast net. Once we have a livewell full of bait we will move on to Capt. George’s favorite fishing spots.
Depending on what type of fish we are targeting such as Redfish, sometimes it takes a few minutes to get set up on the school of fish. So sit back and wait for Capt. George to put you on the fish. Once you find the school of fish the excitement begins. Rods will bend and you will fight to reel the fish to the boat. Once you have the fish in the boat Capt. George will be happy to take some photos and email them to you if you wish. You may also choose to take your fish home. Capt. George will clean and bag the fish for you to take home for dinner!
